Job Description Summary:

Fix, replace, repair, and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and building.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Authorities:

• · Inspect and diagnose problems to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly
• · Plan repair work using prints, if available
• Use common hand and power tools
• Do general cleaning and upkeep of building and property
• Provide records of work to lead
• Keep a clean workspace
• Any other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, abilities, other:

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Good dexterity
• Good eye-hand coordination
• Trouble-shooting skills
• Able to communicate well with fellow employees
• General mechanical maintenance, especially in manufacturing
• Handyman skills: Plumbing, Light carpentry, Basic electrical knowledge
• Forklift experience
• Have own tools

Working Environment:

• Manufacturing warehouse

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand extended periods of time
• Able to climb ladders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
