What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at Caravel Autism Health?
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development, the Facilities Manager will be the first point of contact for the management of daily facilities maintenance and work order requests for all open Caravel locations. The Facilities Manager will coordinate work orders, manage outside vendors, and clearly communicate timelines with field leaders. The Facilities Manager will also be responsible for tracking spend relative to budget and provide reporting to leadership. The incumbent will also provide support to Corporate Development team in regard to opening, relocating, expanding, and remodeling Caravel locations.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the maintenance of all physical locations in the Caravel real estate portfolio.
- Receives and dispatches facilities services/repairs/maintenance to appropriate vendors or service providers.
- Schedule and monitor maintenance to minimize business interruptions.
- Ensure compliance with all lease provisions regarding upkeep and maintenance of all Caravel facilities.
- Experience navigating a ticketing system and tracking progress of work orders.
- Communicating clear timelines with field teams to ensure proper expectations are set and prompt resolutions are achieved.
- Provide reports and analysis on work order volume, cost, and budgets.
- Help project operating costs for annual budgeting process relative to facilities and maintenance of each clinic.
- Track completion of preventative maintenance according to prescribed schedules.
- Provide on-going assistance to Accounts Payable on processing invoices for any facilities related work orders.
- Coordinate with utilities companies for new and existing centers, including ordering of new services, changes, and disconnections.
- Communicate with clinic leadership regarding any facilities projects, work orders, or scheduled maintenance in advance of any such activities taking place when possible.
- Visit clinics as directed to access damage, coordinate moves, and support field staff when needed.
Caravel Pay Details
- $90,800 to $107,800
- Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in-depth work experience within the facilities management space
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Intermediate MS Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with all levels of the organization
- Project management experience
Salary : $90,800 - $107,800
