Plant Laborer

Position Summary:

Carboline is seeking Plant Laborers in Lake Charles, LA. As a Plant Laborer, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process. We are seeking individuals with strong leadership and work ethic to ensure the quality of our products, safety of the facility and coordination of all plant operations in order to reach the best possible performance targets.
Job Duties:

• Participate in the Quality Process by monitoring fill weights, stacking and labeling correctly as per batch ticket.

• Operate the filling machine, controller and line conveyors, and understand their design.

• Take samples of material for testing.

• Maintain a clean work area and assist in the end of shift cleaning.

• Take an active role in hazard recognition and injury prevention by following all safety rules & regulations and report all injuries and incidents to your supervisor.

• Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner.

• Committed to the Company’s safety and quality programs.
