THE JOB AT A GLANCE
The Referral Coordinator / Medical Receptionist position is responsible for coordinating the care, referrals and insurance authorization of Workplace Health patients seeking care for Workers Compensation claims. Additionally, you may assist with greeting and registering patients, as well as administrative tasks and procedures that support an exceptional patient experience.
This position is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in health care. This is a fast-paced role that calls for the ability to multitask, think on your feet and work independently.
We are looking for someone who is customer focused, detailed oriented, empathetic and positive. This role is critical to the entire patient experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work onsite and coordinate documentation between Carbon Health clinic teams and appropriate adjusters, insurer, employers and patients.
- Manage care coordination for Workplace Health patients receiving care for workers compensation visits including but not limited to :
Gathering claim numbers, authorization for clinic visits, authorizations for specialists
Follow-up regarding patient care results
