New Grad Opportunity! Are you a recent graduate in the field of Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), eager to embark on a dynamic urgent care career? If you possess a patient-centric mindset, positive attitude and are eager to work hard and learn, we invite you to explore the exciting opportunity to be a fellow within our urgent care fellowship program.

Fellowship Program Details

Shift Requirements : 40h / week (may include weekends)

Fellow Compensation : $50 / hr

Program Length : 6 months

What You'll Learn

Provide exceptional treatment, collaborative care options (within the scope of urgent care), including physical examinations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment

Order and interpret x-rays, lab results and EKGs

Triage and manage patients thoroughly and efficiently, maintaining a steady flow to avoid long wait times

Perform digital blocks and regional anesthesia, and minor surgical procedures, such as wound closure and management, I&D, foreign body removal

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as aspirations and injection of joints, bursas, and cysts

Perform closed reductions of simple fractures or dislocations of fingers / toes, including nursemaid's elbow reductions

Apply and modify braces, splints, and other orthopedic appliances

About You

Medical / Master's degree and certification

Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant and current national certification - OR -RN - Valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner

National certification upon completion of fellowship program

Current, unrestricted state medical license

Maintain a controlled substance license along with an unrestricted DEA license

Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and impartiality at all times
