As a Behavioral Intervention Professional, you will play a critical role in helping students learn to respond to their daily environment in a practical and productive manner.
This position involves developing appropriate behavioral, social, and emotional intervention strategies and working closely with teachers and instructional assistants to implement them.
- Responsibilities include developing and organizing group therapy activities on a daily basis and previewing, selecting, utilizing, and evaluating treatment materials.
- You will also assist in the development of BIPs and work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Juvenile Justice, Social Behavior, or a related field, or an Associate's degree with minimum 1 year, preferably 3 years, of experience in fields noted.
A strong understanding of crisis prevention/intervention techniques is also essential.
