Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21 is seeking a qualified Mental Health Interventionist to provide direct support to students who require emotional support.
This position involves working closely with teachers and instructional assistants to develop behavioral intervention strategies and implementing them in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Responsibilities include developing and organizing group therapy activities on a daily basis and assisting in the development of BIPs.
- You will also work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders to ensure the success of students.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Juvenile Justice, Social Behavior, or a related field, or an Associate's degree with minimum 1 year, preferably 3 years, of experience in fields noted.
A strong understanding of crisis prevention/intervention techniques is also essential.
