Carbon Zero Buildings is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Senior Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with our clients, helping them achieve their sustainability goals through our innovative building solutions.

Compensation range : $120K-$180K. Compensation is commensurate with experience and quantity of projects managed.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential clients in the construction and building management industries.
  • Build strong relationships with assigned clients, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, design, construction) to develop customized solutions that meet client sustainability targets and budgets.
  • Oversee the client onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and exceeding expectations.
  • Manage client accounts on an ongoing basis, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client satisfaction, project success, and revenue generation.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in sustainable building practices.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, sustainability, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or a similar customer-facing role.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the affordable housing industry in California
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of sustainable building design and construction.
  • A passion for sustainability and a commitment to helping clients achieve their environmental goals.
  • Requirements

    Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

    Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    Proven track record of managing accounts in affordable multifamily and / or energy.

    Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    Able to work from home in a distraction free environment full time

    Lift up to 40 pounds

    Minimum Bachelors Degree in construction, engineering, business or related field
