The Opportunity (Open to Hybrid, or Remote)
As we build out our industry-leading platform, we are looking for exceptional API and integration engineers. If you love getting the names of API endpoints right; if you obsess over stateful and stateless connections; and if you truly believe that design principles like abstraction, loose coupling, and DRY make better code; then you might be the engineer we are looking for.
Join us at Carbon6 as a key player in the evolution of our industry-leading merchant tools and technologies. You'll play a key role designing and implementing essential central services enabling smooth operation of our customer-facing and back-office systems. You'll connect to first- and third-party systems using a variety of languages and technologies, work closely to define and evolve our internal APIs, and be a core part of the team that builds out our developer ecosystem.
Your Impact
- Integration Development & Scalability : Design, build, test, and ship critical integration services providing connectivity to our multiple applications with a focus on quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate closely with peers, product teams, and stakeholders to refine requirements and elevate product outcomes.
- Quality Advocacy & Robust Architecture : Champion clean, test-driven code, and ensure system architecture including APIs, deployments, and dependency selection—is robust and scalable.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate closely with peers, product teams, and stakeholders to refine requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment, while driving enhanced product outcomes.
