Carbone’s Bar and Grill in Lakeville is looking for a strong individual to be an hourly Front of the House (FOH) supervisor in a fast paced, high volume neighborhood bar type establishment. Carbone’s in Lakeville has a stellar reputation for great food, drinks and service! We have been in business for over a decade and want to keep the tradition of great pizza and a great neighborhood establishment alive for decades to come!
Schedule: Flexible with required weekend shifts (which include Friday night, Saturday day and night, and Sundays)
Responsibilities
- You would be responsible for the day to day activities of the restaurant
- Report directly to the owners of the establishment
- Being there early to unlock and open for the day, or being there late to lock up and close for the day
- Making sure that each shift runs smoothly; meaning doing what is necessary to get the job done
- Talking with the customers and making sure they are having a positive visit
- Dealing with customer complaints calmly and professionally
- Helping the servers and the kitchen when needed
- Greeting and de-greeting guests
- Doing occasional prep work when needed (includes but not limited to all kitchen prep and bar prep)
- Making sure that issues are addressed before they become a disaster
- Being in charge of the monies for the day with the severs, bartenders and drivers
Qualifications
- Have had 1 year supervisor/manager/lead roles in different high volume restaurants
- Have had a minimum of 1 year host/server/bartender
- Be familiar with a restaurant kitchen
- Have had cash handling experience
- High school diploma or better
- Be fluent in English both written and spoken
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisor/management experience
- Customer service experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB
- Standing and walking for the large majority of the day
- Possible lifting of empty kegs, soda BIB’s, boxes of glassware and plates
