Chemical Plant Loader

Location : SkyMine Plant - 11503 Bulverde Rd. San Antonio, TX 78217

CarbonFree is looking for a Chemical Plant Loader to support our company as it grows. This role will report directly to one of our Shift Supervisors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Work in a SAFE and efficient manner in all tasks
Primary functions of the loader position are trans-loading of bi-carb railcars, railyard railcar movements, truck tanker and railcar loading
Monitor, operate and control equipment and systems to ensure that all are functioning and to maintain maximum efficiency
Perform basic maintenance related tasks
Initiate work request for required maintenance of equipment and processes
Prepare equipment for maintenance
Notify Supervisor of equipment malfunctions
Record test results and other data pertaining to the plant's operation
Other duties assigned

Education and Experience :

High School diploma or completed GED

Previous industrial manufacturing experience is a plus

Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Basic PC skills required and experience with a distributed control system (DCS) is a plus

Ability to work a compressed shift

Ability to read, write and speak English

Excellent interpersonal skills

Physical requirements : Must be able to climb stairs, lift 40 pounds. Bending, stooping and walking is required

Ability to work a 12-hr rotating shift and work overtime
