Seeking Assistant Construction Project Manager as Owner's Representative preferably with Higher Education program experience, and with organizational and project management experience, to effectively support project teams and make sure that they have all the resources they need to perform their work in a safe, professional, and timely manner; and to assure that work is performed per plans and specifications.
Responsibilities:
· Assist Owner’s Project Manager in organizing and leading the project team and ensure that they have all the resources they need.
· Assist in managing construction projects including schedules, budgets, project progress, and client support.
· Collaborate with clients, owners, and other construction management to determine budget and timelines.
· Report to upper management as necessary.
· Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet project deadlines.
· Implement management techniques that are cost effective and efficient.
· Support the Project Manager in ensuring that that work meets all regulations and that the project progresses according to schedule and budget.
Skills and Qualifications:
*******Experience in commercial or civil construction*******
· Must have excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking, and listening skills
· Good Planning skills, Time Management and Resource Allocation
· Understanding of the construction process, including safe operating practices
· Basic understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations
· Good problem solving and decision-making skills
· Effective leadership abilities including motivation, goal setting and conflict management
· Organizational skills including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking.
****Owners Rep experience is required****
All necessary computer skills required to successfully manage construction projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
