Role:
The Card Assessment Specialist is critically important to providing our core services and meeting our deadlines for the categorization, grading, and reporting results to customers. The role entails a number of responsibilities, and requires a strong attention to detail.
Specialized Criteria:
- Willingness to learn and adhere to established grading standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail when inspecting cards, applied consistently.
- Commitment to learn and retain information specific to various sets, versions, and styles of Magic the Gathering products
Responsibilities:
- Being decisive within established norms.
- Working independently to solve problems and find solutions.
- Providing effective verbal communication with an upbeat attitude.
- Working effectively as part of a team working toward the same goals, including cross-training across multiple departments in order to support other individuals and departments, when necessary.
- Organizing, cleaning, and maintaining an efficient, safe work environment.
- Operating and troubleshooting specialized equipment, including card sorting machines, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Carrying out other duties as assigned in order to contribute to the overall success of our company.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent attention to detail, with ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently
- Versatile in an adaptive environment with a track record of utilizing a multitasking skillset
- Ability to work overtime as needed and reasonably requested
- Basic PC proficiency
- Self-starter, passionate about their success and the success of the company
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to work in a sedentary role
- Have Strong visual acuity
- Exhibit manual dexterity with consistent fine finger manipulation
- Flex/extend wrist frequently in repetitive motions
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in an office setting
Location:
Onsite in Sandy, UT.
Job Type/Pay Rate:
Full Time, scheduled 40 per work week
Potential Shifts: AM & PM Shifts Available - Set Schedule - Some Flexibility
Non-Exempt: Starting at $20.00 per hour
