Job Description
Working within an audit services company, the full-time Financial Auditor is responsible for reviewing the client’s spend data, identifying policy violations & trends, sourcing opportunities, and off-contract spend. Coursework in audit, finance, or supply chain and an understanding of procurement cards (P-Cards) is beneficial. This role interfaces directly with customers to explain findings and answer questions. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. This position offers a flexible schedule during normal business hours. The work will be completed in our Oak Brook office. The company offers the option of working 20% remotely after in-office training has been completed.
Position Responsibilities
- Work with large amounts of data using an in-house toolset to facilitate.
- Responsible for existing customer relationships, providing deliverables and fielding questions.
- Organization of all client data files, deliverables, questions, trends.
- Identifying supplier lines of business.
- Professional skepticism regarding corporate expenditures.
- Maintain in-house software configuration for customer specific settings.
- Protects organization’s data by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplishes department objectives by completing related results as needed.
- Internal investigations based on large data sets and identifying patterns.
- Inspect and QA reports and findings.
- Downloading and uploading data.
Skills & Qualifications
- College degree required
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic Excel skills required
- Purchasing, audit or finance coursework required
- Self-starter and flexibility to meet varied and tight deadlines
