About the Role
As a Lead Guide in our Preschool Community, you will partner with a co-lead and an assistant teacher to create and maintain a nurturing, peaceful, and developmentally appropriate classroom. You will act not only as an educator but as a mentor and role model, fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning in every child.
Qualifications
- Montessori credential from a MACTE-accredited training program (Infant/Toddler 0–3 or Early Childhood 3–6)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Prior classroom experience in a Montessori setting preferred
- Excellent communication, observation, and classroom management skills
- A calm, patient, and empathetic teaching style
- Ability to work collaboratively and with a growth mindset
- Passionate about child development and the Montessori philosophy
- Physically able to meet the demands of an early childhood classroom (bending, sitting on the floor, standing for extended periods, lifting more than 30 lbs)
