Key Responsibilities: As the Office Manager for a surgical specialty office, you’re responsible for ensuring an outstanding patient and referring doctor experience. The ideal candidate will have solid working knowledge of Medicaid and commercial medical and/or dental insurance carriers. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Position requires reliable transportation and willingness to travel to both of our locations in Brownsville and Harlingen.
Management responsibilities include:
- Optimize office services by organizing and supervising staff, office operations, record keeping, billing, vendor contacts and office procedures.
- Recruit, onboard, and coordinate training of new staff members.
- Work with surgeon to coordinate staffing, identify and solve operational problems, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor, review, and direct financial operations including billing, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and budget.
- Oversee timely collections, patient estimates, and patient billing.
- HIPAA and OSHA compliance oversight.
- Support practice development opportunities and marketing with referring offices.

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Bilingual required (English & Spanish).
- 3 years of experience managing a medical or dental office required, however, oral surgery experience is a plus!
- Proven track record at successfully leading multi-generational teams in healthcare.
