POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for providing patient care in a compassionate, professional, ethical, and knowledgeable manner. Performing Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) examination on patients to determine peripheral vascular disease.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Perform all ordered ABI per Practice protocol and guidelines.
- Communicates with all employees, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Handles and maintains knowledge of all medical equipment utilized in the care of the patient.
- Complies with all facility policies and procedures, while upholding the high expectations of the Practice.
- Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and appropriate facility meetings.
- Shares knowledge and experiences gained from own clinical practice and relevant education.
- Participates in the orientation, training and teaching of other employees as needed.
- May assist with and respond to all electronic faxed, telephone refill request and, patient portal messages.
- Travel to all offices when necessary
- Other duties as assigned per the need of the organization and within scope of licensure.
