We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Help with mobility and transportation within the facility or during appointments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
- Follow care plans as directed by nursing staff or healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of Dementia/ Alzhemier's care practices is beneficial for working with elderly patients.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential.
