Our Direct Support Professionals will have responsibilities pertaining to the people we serve; this list of responsibilities includes but is not limited to.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Effectively use a smartphone and apps that we use to aid in the work we do
- Teach and/or assist in daily tasks in the person’s home:
- General Cleaning – Light Housekeeping
- Appointment Tracking and Time management
- Accompany the People we Serve to their Events and Appointments
o Support the individuals’ choices and interests
- Personal Schedule Management as well as working with the People we serve and their Representatives.
- Effective Communication with Management Team as well as Care Team
- Participate in the creation and implementation of Care/Support Plans
- Ensure that documents are current and compliant with current State and Federal Laws
Qualifications and Education Requirements **Will Provide Training
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
- Clear Background Check & Fingerprinting
- First Aid, CPR Certifications **
- AED Certificate or Training **
