In-Person SAT/ACT Tutor
Location: Bronxville, NY & Manhattan, NY
Part-Time

Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 SAT tutoring to students in their homes in Bronxville, NY, and Manhattan, NY
- Drive exceptional score improvements, guiding students from 1100 to 1550 in a year
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to students' unique strengths and areas for improvement
- Analyze student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Reduce student stress and build confidence through expert guidance and mentorship
- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and team members to ensure alignment on academic goals
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years coaching SAT/ACT, preferably with students from Manhattan, Westchester, and Connecticut and/or elite boarding schools
- Availability: Must be able to commit to a set schedule, Sunday through Thursday from 5-7 PM EST through the summer, and a stable meeting time throughout the school year
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited university
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while following company pedagogy and processes.
- Dedication to student success and the ability to deliver measurable results.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to cater to each student’s learning style.
- Transportation: Must have the ability to travel to students' homes in Bronxville and Manhattan.
Compensation
- Starting Rate: $150 per hour (negotiable based on tenure and experience).
