The Field Service Technician - Refrigeration will provide support to the Cardinal Equipment Service Department performing essential mechanical duties and department functions. This role will be responsible for a wide variety of assignments associated with – but not limited to beverage, vending, and ice equipment troubleshooting and repair. Additional responsibilities include parts and equipment accountability, resource management, customer relations, job site surveys and working closely with customers and co-workers.

- Beverage fountain, draft beer, vending and ice maker equipment install, removal, troubleshooting and repair
- Parts and Equipment Accountability
- Maintain positive customer and co-worker relationships
- Record and account for billable time, parts and services related to work assignments
- Position requires flexibility to work various shifts
Desired Work Experience:
- Soft drink, ice maker or draught beer mechanical service preferred
- Basic plumbing and electrical experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Valid Drivers’ license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
- High school diploma or GED required
- Customer accounts – restaurants, convenience stores, offices, etc.
- Equipment Used: Basic hand tools, handheld computer, lift carts, ladders, electric and battery drills, saws
- Physical effort required in job: Lifting, bending, climbing, and stretching
- Potential of working in tight and cramped spaces
