Implement lean manufacturing, identify process inefficiencies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop improvement strategies, track progress, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that promote consistency in processes; develop and refine production schedules that optimize inventory allocation to meet demand and minimize holding costs; streamline workflows in production processes, minimize bottlenecks, make data-driven adjustment, and automate certain production planning tasks to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity; design and implement quality control procedures to ensure product meets high standards. Analyze quality data, identify trends, and lead corrective and preventive action initiatives; automate quality monitoring processes and apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance product quality and consistency to minimize waste reduction; establish a culture of continuous improvement by fostering an environment that encourages employee engagement, idea generation, and process innovation; utilize SQL or other database management skills to develop data-driven solutions and design automation scripts utilizing C#, Java or other programming languages to enhance process efficiency and accuracy of Manufacturing Operations; apply knowledge of PLC systems to program, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial control systems; collaborate with IT teams to integrate manufacturing and Shopfloor data systems; apply programming knowledge to interface with machine control systems and enhance predictive mechanical maintenance.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience as a continuous improvement engineer or in continuous improvement engineering.
Must possess Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification; must possess one year experience in the following: quality control principles; production planning; mechanical maintenance; SQL Proficiency; PLC Programming; Waste Reduction; Implementing Lean Manufacturing; developing SOPs; Inventory Optimization; shopfloor concepts and integration.
