A candidate for this job at Cardinal FG should have strong knowledge of industrial mechanics including changes of bearings, pulleys and sheaves, rigging, pneumatics, alignment and trouble shooting. Each Technician must be able to communicate and function in a self-directed environment.
This job requires familiarity of confined space entry, industrial safety policies, hot work permitting and hazard assessment. A person in this position needs to be flexible and willing to learn. Experience in industrial electrical trouble shooting is preferred. A Cardinal Maintenance Tech will be involved in maintaining many different systems including, but not limited to the following:
- Electrical Distribution, Plant Air, and process Water systems.
- Troubleshoot and replace lighting.
- Mixing and weighing systems including vibratory feeders, diverters, belt conveyors and bucket elevators.
- Melting and combustion systems.
- Air handlers and cooling systems.
- Repair, take apart and rebuild machinery.
- High temperature resistance heating systems.
- Transmitters, detectors, analyzers and test equipment.
- Conveyor drive systems including bearings, belts, motors and pulleys.
- Control systems both relay based and programmable.
- Robotics systems.
- Cutting, grinding and welding. General knowledge of industrial shop tools.

Vacation
Upon hire- After completion of 90 days, you will receive 40 hours of paid vacation,
After two years, employees receive 80 hours of vacation time,

WA Paid sick leave will accrue as follows:
Eligible employees will accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked, including overtime hours.
Paid sick leave is accrued based on hours worked. An employee will not accrue paid sick leave during any period of paid or unpaid leave (including utilization of paid sick leave hours).
Employees will begin accruing paid sick leave on their date of hire and are eligible to begin using accrued paid sick leave on their 90th day of employment.
Experience
