Summary
As a Behavioral Specialist at Cardinal Grace Animal Rescue, you will play a vital role in assessing and addressing the behavioral needs of our rescue dogs. This position is essential for ensuring their successful rehabilitation and integration into loving homes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments of rescued dogs to identify needs and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior modification plans.
- Provide training and support to other volunteers on animal behavior management techniques.
- Monitor animal progress and adjust behavior plans as necessary.
- Educate potential adopters about animal behavior and proper care techniques.
Requirements
- Experience in animal handling or care, preferably in a rescue or shelter environment.
- Strong understanding of animal behavior principles and training methods.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, volunteers, and potential adopters.
