Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Recruited to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the employee experience, support our organizational goals, while being responsible for full cycle recruiting for Cardinal Hayes Home for Children and Hayes Day School. Cardinal Hayes Home for Children is a not-for-profit agency providing residential care and treatment for young people who are developmentally disabled. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance.
Essential Job Functions
- Design and implement recruitment strategies that will meet the staffing needs of CHH and HDS
- Design and implement advertising strategies that will meet the staffing needs of CHH and HDS
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify open positions and help identify qualified candidates for positions
- Screen candidates, select qualified candidates for the interviewing phase and connect viable candidates with hiring managers
- Follow up hiring managers after the interview process to determine which candidates will be selected for hire-communicate with candidates to provide feedback after the interview
- Manage internal job posting processes to ensure all positions are posted internally and process any interested and qualified internal candidates for open positions
- Organize and attend job fairs and attend other networking opportunities
- Stay up to date and comply with changes in HR legislation
- Maintain and ensure compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations
- Assist with all aspects of onboarding as needed
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Chief HR Officer
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook in particular)
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED Required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- Previous experience recruiting required
- Experience in an OPWDD environment highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, professional, and upbeat demeanor; team player
