We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Design Operations Leader to drive operational excellence within our User Experience (UX) organization. Responsibilities :
Operational Strategy :
Develop and implement scalable processes, tools, Design System and frameworks to support the UX team’s effectiveness and delivery.
Program Management :
Lead the planning and execution of key design initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Process Optimization :
Streamline workflows to reduce friction and improve efficiency across research, design, and delivery phases.
Resource Planning :
Collaborate with leadership to forecast resource needs, manage budgets, and support hiring efforts.
Collaboration Enablement :
Facilitate cross-functional alignment between UX, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
Governance :
Establish quality standards, documentation, and reporting mechanisms for consistent design outputs and outcomes.
Team Development :
Advocate for the team’s growth and well-being by creating opportunities for professional development and fostering a positive team culture.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in design operations, program management, or a similar role within a UX or design organization.
Strong understanding of UX design processes, tools, and best practices.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and design systems strongly preferred.
Experience in B2B or ecommerce industries strongly preferred.
Anticipated salary range :
103,500 - $155,295
