Other duties may be assigned.SafetyAssists in maintaining the general health and welfare of all employees, customers, and those in public contact with our operational services within the established guidelines of safety processes, policies, and regulations.Responsibilities as Jr. AccountantReview / analyze and code plant expenses / freight charges for payment.Records and updates balance sheet accounts and reports.May engage in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.May perform A / P duties such as verifying and posting invoices for payment and ensuring expenditures are charged to appropriate accounts.Assist with IT staff to obtain, implement, and track the placement of IT equipment, including printers, computers, phone systems, and credit card machines.Conduct regular audits and maintain equipment maintenance schedules and replacement lifecycles.Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.May be involved in projects to update, test, and implement software and equipment upgrades.Responsibilities as Receptionist for Store Support OfficeGreet and welcome customers walk-in / phone calls.Answer phones timely and courteously and direct calls to appropriate employees at various locations. Take messages as required.May contact maintenance vendor for office equipment repairs as needed.Order / maintain common area kitchen and conference room supplies.Will assist in shipping and receiving packages.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Strong verbal and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Part-time position – 20 hours per week.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Lifting up to 25 pounds.Salary Range : $18.00 - $20.00WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.#J-18808-Ljbffr
