Commercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. User Experience Design creates intuitive digital interfaces that meet business objectives, make it easy for a user and / or customer to accomplish their intended task(s) and deliver a high-level of customer satisfaction when engaging with the company online.
Job Summary
The Cardinal Health Pharma eCommerce team is looking for a Lead User Experience Designer who will lead the design of digital products that take our digital products to the future and beyond. We are looking for a passionate designer and team player who will be part of a massive digital transformation effort.
The Lead UX Designer will be responsible for imagining future-proof usable and desirable digital experiences for mobile apps and responsive web. You will help solve problems across multiple platforms to align new digital experiences and clearly communicate ideas to bring these experiences to life from beginning to end.
The End-to-End Lead UX Designer will help advance the Mobile and Desktop vision for our best-in-class e-commerce ordering system. In this role, you will uncover and define user needs, build out workflows, construct the information architecture, create layouts, define taxonomy, build interactions, or create any relevant UX artifact as needed. You will design detailed creative assets for both written and visual content roughly 25-35% of the time. The User Experience Designer will work directly with the product team in their respective cross-functional work teams to prioritize and specify features to deliver great new experiences. This role may require working with an offshore team daily at early morning hours or late evening hours.

- Lead end-to-end experiences.
- Maintain a portfolio that demonstrates capabilities and a deep understanding of UX best practices and standards.
- Be passionate about user experiences and have a strong foundation in interaction design.
- Problem-solve and design with robust databases in mind.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Evangelize the benefits and efficiencies of UX to development lead teams.
- Understand the nuances between mobile platforms and responsive / adaptive design.
- Embrace change and thrive in an evolving team environment.
- Have a working knowledge of how design works when coded with regard to any interface or device.
- Participate in whiteboard sessions focused on digital user experience design.
- Work in agile or iterative settings and enjoy co-locating with your team.
- Work with virtual teams.
- Continuously learn and challenge yourself.
- Be open to working early or late hours with offshore teams as needed.
- Travel occasionally to understand customer needs (10%).
- Possess excellent storytelling skills for presenting work to management and stakeholders.
- Advocate for human-centric design methodologies.
- Be comfortable with complex data-centric experiences.
- Understand accessibility and its importance.
- Familiarity with Atomic Design principles.
- Working knowledge of Figma and prototyping skills (Axure and Figma).
- Experience with UX research.
- Training in designing for accessibility.
- Design-thinking badge or coaching certification.
Qualifications
7-12 years of experience, preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Anticipated salary range : $103,500 - $155,295
