Responsibilities
- Delivering safe, high quality, reliable and compassionate care to our clients
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, eating, etc.
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Transportation to doctor appointments and errands
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Dementia/Alzheimer's Care
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 18 years of age with reliable transportation, driver’s license preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background, Driving Records Check and Company Administered Drug Screening test
- Employees must have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Current and valid Virginia CNA/PCA/HHA certification preferred
- Applicants with the availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
