Position: Red Hat OpenShift Developer/Architect
Location: Charlotte, NC / Chicago, IL / Dallas, TX Onsite at any location
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Red Hat OpenShift Developer/Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and highly available cloud-native applications on the OpenShift platform. You will work closely with our development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to optimize and manage our containerized applications while driving the adoption of best practices for containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native architectures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift (preferably version 4.x and above) and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, and serverless computing concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
- Strong experience with Linux-based systems, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning in containerized environments (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or similar certifications.
- Understanding of serverless architectures on OpenShift and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development and deployment.
- Proven experience in container orchestration and application lifecycle management using OpenShift or Kubernetes.
