Job Title: Thompson Reuters OneSource Global Trade Solution Analyst
Location: Santa Clara CA, Austin, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 6- 12 Months
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements, convert requirements to functional and technical specifications, design cross-functional solutions to meet complex business requirements, and participate in new technology evaluations
Perform and document software application configuration and/or coding, prepare and execute testing (unit, integration, performance, acceptance) and data conversions using standard tools, and follow established processes and guidelines.
Functional Knowledge:
- Demonstrate conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
Business Expertise:
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrated with others.
Problem-Solving:
- Solve complex problems; take a new perspective on existing solutions; exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Interpersonal Skills:
- Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus
Must-Have:
- 5-8 years of configuration experience in Thompson Reuters Onesource Global trade solution with at least 2 implementation experiences. Some experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) minimum is preferred.
- Experience with the design of enhancements and continuous improvement projects involving OneSource Global trade solutions and in different functional areas like - Denied Party Screening, Embargo, License, Foreign Trade Zone, Classification, US AES Self Filing, etc
- Integration with SAP ECC with Onesource Global trade solution.
- Experience promoting changes to Production and associated methodology, including writing and executing test plans
- Analytical team player, able to learn quickly, can prioritize and multi-task
- Strong English verbal and written skills
- Self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverables, able to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance
- Knowledge of working with Data Analytics collaborate with Hadoop and Tableau to prepare various dashboards. Prepare Functional Specifications, participate in the design and testing of Hadoop Tables and Tableau Dashboards
- Knowledge of SAP ECC and integration with SAP GTS
