We’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer with a minimum of 7 years of experience, particularly in Microsoft SQL Server and cloud-based technologies. This role is ideal for someone with advanced database development expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Managed Instances is a major plus. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize databases.
- Build and maintain ETL processes with SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
- Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Craft complex packages, stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, etc.
- Collaborate on database architecture for both on-premises and cloud solutions.
- Support database operations, including backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure and on-premises SQL environments.
- Provide reporting support with SSRS and Power BI.
Required Skills:
- 7 years of SQL Server and Azure database experience.
- Advanced T-SQL and query optimization.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in Power BI, SSRS, DevOps practices, and high availability solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field required
