Custodial Daytime Lead Supervisor

- Seeking an experienced and dedicated Custodial Daytime Lead Supervisor for custodial operations at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, Newport News, VA. - Must have strong leadership skills and background in custodial practices. - Responsible for upholding high cleanliness and safety standards. - Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick Days included. - Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, approximately 40 hours per week.

$22 - $24 hourly

• Analyze and interpret contract specifications to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance to guarantee timely completion of all tasks.
• Provide comprehensive training on custodial procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Implement and uphold safety standards and regulations for the custodial team.
• Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and compassionately.
• Perform various cleaning duties including office and restroom cleaning, trash disposal, floor care, and event setups.

• Proven track record as a Custodial Supervisor in a commercial setting is required.
• Proficiency in executing proper custodial procedures, utilizing cleaning tools, machines, and chemicals is essential.
• Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities are a must.
• Demonstrated capability in training, supervising, and managing custodial teams is necessary.
• Experience in devising and implementing action plans for process improvement is preferred.
• Physical demands include constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Skilled in reading cleaning instructions and distinguishing between cleaning products and their appropriate uses.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must possess personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of JLAB training requirements and background check is mandatory.
• HUBZone certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
