At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community-based services.
CMCS is seeking a dynamic candidate to become our next Administrative Director of Foster Care! In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the agency's mission, vision and values within all areas of the Foster Care program. Responsibilities include the development of program/department goals and objectives as well as the coordination and supervision of the full range of Social Work and ancillary services for the Foster Care team. The Administrative Director of Foster Care serves as the main liaison between CMCS and regulatory bodies including the Administration for Children's Services (ACS) and the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Human Services or Social Work
- New York State License as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) required
- Relevant post-Master's experience in child welfare setting
- Relevant supervisory experience in a child welfare setting
Additional Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Spanish a Plus
- Valid NYS driver's license and own transportation for travel to various worksites
- Citywide travel required
