General Job Description:
Cardinal O’Hara High School is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Advancement. The full-time Director of Advancement reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for the overall planning, management, coordination, and evaluation of the enrollment, development, communications, and constituent/public relations programs. The Director of Advancement works closely with the other members of the Cardinal O’Hara leadership team to create a supportive climate for enrollment and fundraising to ensure that we are able to provide sufficient resources so we can achieve our mission.
Preferred Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have experience in enrollment management, development, sales, marketing, communication, annual funds and fundraising, and/or volunteer management, preferably in the field of education; superior communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all constituent groups and individuals; demonstrated leadership and initiative within an organizational setting; be familiar with Google applications, social media and the internet; and an appreciation for the values and tenets of Catholic secondary education and Cardinal O’Hara High School.
