Armed Security Officer
Cardinal Point Security Group is seeking a Security Officer whose primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and protection of visitors and staff members.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Location: Gladwyne, PA
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:45 AM to 3:15 PM
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be an Ambassador for Cardinal Point Security Group: Be on time. Look sharp in proper uniform. Be engaged. Be consistent.
- Access Control
- Monitors facilities throughout scheduled shift
- Patrol facilities and grounds to prevent access to restricted areas, theft, or vandalism.
- Acts as First Responder for emergencies.
- Identify and report suspicious activity.
- Incident management
- Cultivate positive relationships with staff and visitors.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Five years of experience as an Armed Security Officer
- Prior Law Enforcement experience
- Must possess a valid, up to date PA Act 235 Certification
- Must possess a valid, up to date PA Concealed Carry Permit
- Must possess your own firearm.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successfully completes criminal background investigation.
- No felony or misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude.
- Reliable means of communication (active cell phone with mobile email access)
- Ability to comprehend and utilize the English Language (verbal and written)
- Must possess a professional and courteous demeanor.
