Security Consultant
Cardinal Point Homeland Security Group is seeking energetic professionals capable of providing high impact consulting services for our company. Cardinal Point consultants will work primarily on school consulting projects. Our team helps organizations and schools to improve security and safety, and manage risk, threats, and vulnerabilities.
Compensation: competitive pay rate based on experience
Location: Philadelphia Metropolitan Region
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluates security systems to determine risks and vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Development of policies and procedures that minimize risks.
- Perform physical security assessments.
- Develop emergency management plans
- Prepare written security assessment reports.
Basic Qualifications:
- Able to work independently
- 10 years of demonstrated experience in law enforcement or security risk-management with a focus on supporting security risk assessments
- Organizational skills to schedule meetings as necessary based on client needs
- Meet deadlines by developing, managing, and owning project timelines and target dates for information gathering, assessing, and reporting
- Detail Oriented and able to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple client inquiries simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office 365 and Zoom
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
- Experience working in a school setting
- PCCD approved provider
