Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Cardinal Points Imaging is currently seeking a Diagnostic Technologist for a Part Time Flex weekend position at our outpatient imaging center located in Raleigh, NC. This position qualifies for a $5 shift differential.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Administrator, Director and Clinical Imaging Manager:
- Will primarily focus on screening and positioning patients for MRI procedures while collaborating with MRI Technologists who will be scanning remotely.
- The Diagnostic Technologist will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, gathering essential medical history, assisting with proper patient positioning, and maintaining clear communication with the MRI Technologist throughout the process.
- Ensure all necessary forms and consents are completed prior to the imaging procedure.
- Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiography Technologist
EDUCATION:
- Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology and be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Skill in operation of radiographic equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
