- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Implement behavior management techniques to assist clients with challenging behaviors.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring safety within their environment.
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.
Skills
- Experience or knowledge in memory care and dementia care practices is highly beneficial.
