Network Director of Quality Assurance
Location : Fort Wayne, IN
Salary : Starting at $57,216.43 based on experience
Position Summary : The Director of Quality Assurance plays a pivotal role in managing the Quality Assurance (QA) program within the organization. This includes the preparation and coordination of external survey entities, the development and implementation of procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and overseeing investigations related to abuse, neglect, or exploitation of participants. The Director is responsible for the supervision of personnel, independent problem-solving, and ensuring adherence to agency policies and professional standards. This role requires strategic oversight of audit controls, internal investigations, and organizational compliance, ensuring continuous improvement in quality and regulatory compliance across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Establish and implement agency-wide audit controls and procedures to monitor operational effectiveness.
- Oversee Records Management to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s audit, survey, and corporate compliance program.
- Create policies and procedures for internal surveys, audits, and investigations regarding abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards to ensure alignment with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor unusual occurrences, incident reports, and report follow-up procedures, including monthly year-to-date comparisons.
- Stay current on new or revised regulations and inform the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of updates and changes.
- Serve as a resource to executive and management staff regarding the interpretation of standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Compile statistical data and write reports summarizing quality assurance findings for executive staff and the board of directors.
- Assist departments with the coordination of audit information and recommend appropriate data-gathering mechanisms and procedures.
- Conduct internal compliance investigations and audits, compiling reports with recommendations for the COO.
- Provide ongoing advice and resources to management regarding compliance issues, process monitoring, and improvement efforts.
- Maintain a system for management reporting, delivering timely and relevant information on audit and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with management to ensure the prevention and detection of misconduct and wrongdoing.
- Review and address complaints, concerns, or questions related to compliance issues.

Qualifications :
3-5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
Working knowledge of CARF, Indiana 460 Regulations, ICF / ID Regulations, and FSSA Regulations preferred
Ability to pass criminal / registry background checks
