Job Description
- To support Company policies and business objectives while performing the specific
- To participate in continuous improvement activities that enhance the working environment.
- Serve as HR Representative for assigned department to ensure fair treatment of employees
- Maintain floor visibility throughout all departments.
- Assist in the maintenance of Company bulletin boards and post information on a timely basis.
- Maintain up-to-date job descriptions for all positions within assigned department.
- Complete a biweekly report with an employee in the assigned area.
- Review and track employee performance reviews as assigned.
- Assist in the processing and investigation of corrective actions as required.
- Cover reception duties as required.
- Maintain up-to-date information on HRIS system and HR database for all relevant data
- Complete Employment Verifications as requested.
- File HR related paperwork in employee files.
- Issuance of all employee performance reviews.
- Process and track all unemployment claims.
- Process and track all medical leave and lay-off insurance and optional life premium
- Maintain salaried vacation balances.
- Coordinate Human Resource projects as assigned by Human Resources Manager.
- Previous experience as a HR Generalist preferred.
- Minimum five years work experience in automotive manufacturing desired.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must have experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel software applications.
- Degree in a Human Resources field of study preferred.
- Previous training in Human Resources required.
