Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for Machine Shop Operator in Waterville, OH. As a Machine Shop Operator for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a fast-paced machine shop and be involved in all aspects of metal casting in the chemical, food processing and mechanical industry.
Machine Shop Operator are required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual labor and use of tools, machinery, and equipment. The position entails heavy lifting and standing on your feet the entire shift.

- Machine Operation: Operate machines to perform finishing tasks on investment castings.
- Material Handling: Load and unload castings into machines and fixtures safely, ensuring correct positioning for machining.
- Inspection: Perform visual inspections of castings and use basic measuring tools to verify dimensions.
- Tool Maintenance: Monitor machine tools for wear.
- Workstation Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, removing chips and debris from machines after operation.
Required Qualifications of the Machine Shop Operator:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior machining experience is required. Previous work in manufacturing or production environments is preferred, but not required.
- Skills:-Basic math and measurement skills.-Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.-Attention to detail and focus on quality.-Willingness to learn machine operation.
