Cardinal Staffing is immediately hiring a Welder Inspector for a large, well-known manufacturing client in Roseville, MI. Ideal applicants should have experience in TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum, or experience with MIG welding processes and various grinding tools and have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.
Available shifts include 2nd from 2p-10p. Occasional overtime is available.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Must have cut and etch experience.
- Read and interpret materials, such as work orders, inspection manuals, and blueprints, to determine inspection and test procedures.
- Inspect materials, products, and work in progress for conformance to defined requirements.
- Mark items for acceptance or rejection, record test results and inspection data, and compare findings with specifications.
- Confers with vendors and others regarding inspection results, recommends corrective procedures, and compiles reports of results, recommendations, and repairs.
- Test and measure finished products, components, or assemblies for functioning, operation, and accuracy to verify adherence to functional specification.
