What are the responsibilities and job description for the Settlement Agent (Title/Real Estate Industry) position at Cardinal Title Group?
Cardinal Title Group is seeking an experienced, Settlement Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior title industry experience and will possess the skills required to conduct a clear and concise real estate settlement, in Maryland and Virginia.
The position is based out of our Frederick, Hagerstown or Leesburg (VA) office, but could also require periodic travel to various offices.
Job Functions Include:
- Review files to ensure that all requirements are met before settlement
- Present all closing documents to sellers and purchasers
- Ensure that all paperwork is signed correctly
- Address any issues that arise during settlement
- Provide the highest level of customer service to clients
- Possess the ability to communicate in a professional and effective manner
Requirements
- Maryland and Virginia Title Producer License
- Valid driver's license
- College degree preferred
- 2 years of title experience
