Job title:

Production Team Member, Industrial Athlete, Robotics Technician, Coach, Mentor, and Supervisor positions available. Hires are needed to fill newly created positions and to backfill recently departed team members.

NEW STARTING WAGES (effective 02/01/2024):

1st shift [40 hours/week]: $18.40/hour starting  (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $58,173.44*

2nd shift [40 hours/week]: $19.40/hour starting  (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $61,335.04*

3rd shift [40 hours/week]: $20.40/hour starting  (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $64,496.64*

WKD shift [36 hours/week]: $20.40/hour starting  (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $58,046.98*

Leadership Positions: $21.40-24.40/hour (starting base)  (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $67,568.24* to $77,143.04*

Additional wage increases occur at 1 year, 1.5 years, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, etc. an annual cost of living adjustment that is observed every February.

FLSA Status:

Hourly/Non-Exempt with Salaried Non-Exempt and Salaried Exempt growth opportunities.

Hours Required:

1st shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday (A) 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM or (B) 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM or (F) 6:00 AM To 4:30 PM

2nd shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday 2:45 PM to 1:15 AM

3rd shift - 10 hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM

WKD shift - 12 hours: Friday-Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Breaks/Lunch:

Shift times & lengths vary depending on department/shift.

1st, 2nd & 3rd shift receive 1-15 minute paid break & 1-30 minute unpaid lunch break. Our 12 hour shifts receive 2-15 minute paid breaks and 1-30 paid lunch break.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

None needed. On-the-job training is provided. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Candidates with previous manufacturing or leadership experience may be given preference over those without.

Role Overview: Hourly production team members are responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing of orders. These orders include, but are not limited to: architectural, residential, and commercial units, stalls, railings, windows, walls, doors, etc. Ideal candidates are those looking for long-term employment opportunities who are also interested in leadership opportunities, building teams, and improving processes.

Dress Code/Protective Gear: Work gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed or composite shoes. Certain departments within the facility do require the wear of supplied cut-resistant clothing.

Essential Functions:

  • Read, comprehend and execute production/scheduling plan by following the production schedule
  • Operate a computer
  • Manipulate knobs on machinery
  • Lift up to 50 lbs manually - may be more weight utilizing team lifting or articulating hoists
  • Push/pull tables and racks of glass
  • Verbally communicate with other production team members to coordinate tasks
  • Assist in the insurance safe working environment for self and fellow team members by addressing safety concerns, training, and by holding team members accountable to Cardinal LG’s safety standards
  • Is responsible for evaluating weekly punches for self via paper time edits and/or electronically via Attendance on Demand
  • Works closely with Department Manager, Shift Manager, Supervisor, and/or other Production Team Members to supply necessary production information
  • Follows all facility policies, rules and regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Partners with Team Members by soliciting feedback and suggestions to improve departmental function and morale
  • Behaves in an ethical manner and treats fellow team members at all levels with respect and dignity
  • Communicates clearly and respectfully using all mediums: electronic, written, face-to-face and telephonic
  • Participates in required trainings
  • Use email, phones, radios, and in-person communications

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allows
  • Train others to help them gain knowledge in your strength areas as needed
  • Request additional trainings as concerns regarding processes arise

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Read, comprehend, and speak English
  • Use a pen/pencil to complete required documentation

Environmental Conditions:

This position exists in an indoor manufacturing facility. The work environment is a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises, dust, and fumes.
