About Us
Cardinal Glass Industries was established in 1962 as a fabricator of sealed insulating glass units in St. Louis Park, MN. Throughout the years, the company has grown and consists of a Mineral facility, Float Glass facilities, Tempered Glass facilities, Coated Glass facilities, Insulating Glass facilities, and Laminated Glass facilities. These facilities are located throughout the United States.
Cardinal’s premier product is the Insulating Glass Unit which consists of two or three coated Lo E Lites of glass that are assembled into an insulating unit. The oxygen between the lites is replaced with Argon. The units are framed with aluminum or stainless steel and then doubled sealed.
Cardinal is the largest producer of insulating glass units in the world!
Our distribution center in Hudson, WI is always looking for dependable, hardworking, and energetic Material Handlers to join our team. In addition to a competitive wage and monthly profit sharing, we offer a safe, stable, and secure climate-controlled work environment. Material Handlers operate power equipment and utilize voice technology to sequence glass units for our customer, all while adhering to strict safety and quality specifications.
Base Wage is $20.50/hr. to start.
- Scheduled increases at 6 months and 12 months
- Training Level Ups
Current openings
• 1st shift (10A) 4:00 PM - 2:30 PM (Wednesday - Saturday) $1.00 shift differential
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Sunday - Thursday) $2.00 shift differential
*Overtime as needed.
Position Responsibilities
- Work independently to pick and pack orders in our clean/climate controlled warehouse.
- Contribute to our industry leading safety record.
- Learn and adhere to both Cardinal Glass and customer quality specifications.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Regular in-person attendance.
- Desire to work in a Safe, fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide units that typically weigh 20 lbs., and may weigh up to 75 lbs. (Larger units require a 2nd person or mechanical assist).
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week plus overtime (when needed)
- Attention to detail and good time management skills.
