2nd Shift Team Leader

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe work habits and a safe work environment
• Follow all Operation Standards for the assigned job
• Maintain good housekeeping; Report all accidents, near misses, and unsafe work conditions
• Produce quality parts and properly inspect parts; Properly handle abnormal parts and repair parts
• Properly perform PM and process checks and change weld wire where required
• Report internal rejects and downtime to assigned Coordinator
• Produce the required quantity and type of parts per the production schedule or to maintain Kanban levels
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Behave in a cooperative, responsible, respectful, and ethical manner
• Accurately complete all paperwork required by the assigned job
• Train associates
• Fulfill all aspects of being an offline.
• Process scrap and give all scrap tickets to the Coordinator
• Be a fully active member of the department Kaizen team
• Must have experience using inspection tools (calipers, height stand, point micrometers, etc.)
• Work on minor mechanical and programming issues with the equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds from the floor to chest high, and walk across the room with it
• Must be able to stand on concrete for up to 12 hours at a time
• Must be able to bend, twist, reach, grip, lift, squat, walk, carry and climb as needed

Education and Experience:

• • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Stable work history with a pattern of good attendance; must be willing to work any shift
  • Must be able to attain CYT-AL Certified Inspector & CYT-AL Certified Trainer status
  • Preferred candidates will be qualified Production Tech or above; or 2 years supervisory experience
