Job Overview
Full-Time Cardiac Device Coordinator/Technician needed for a busy cardiology office.
Job duties will include:
- Facilitates all aspects of set up and development including responsibility and functionality of all electrophysiology (EP) equipment and troubleshooting equipment technical problems.
- Analyze heart rhythms on the telephone and remote transmissions.
- Assists physician in proper recording and storage of data, including remote home monitoring.
- Work directly with physicians and device vendors to provide accurate patient care, registry, monitoring, event management, and reporting.
- Performs outpatient and post-operative device interrogation, reprogramming, and updating plan of care
- Maintains remote and in office patient schedule to maximize efficiency, quality, and reimbursement of services rendered.
- Functions as coordinator and patient liaison between physicians and outpatient clinical care.
- Direct involvement in patient relations, schedules outpatient visits including coordinating necessary clinical objectives in care management
- Initiates implant follow up care, educates patients in the overall functionality of the device, what is being monitored, care instructions, and providing patient with pre-set monitoring schedule
- Acts as a resource and provides mentoring to clinic staff in regards to device reports, exercise physiology and telemetry.
- Analyzes and recommends process and quality improvements and additional staff development
- Assist physicians during monitor implants in an outpatient setting
- Ensures compliance with clinic protocols as well as current regulatory requirements.
- Participates in activities for professional development and maintains required clinical knowledge, technical skills, training and credentials.
- Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concepts and reflects the organization's mission and philosophy.
- Facilitate new care management models with new technology to maximize patient care.
- Assists physician in other duties, other than the above listed, that are associated with cardiac device management.
Pay based on knowledge and skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
