What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner position at Cardiology, P.C.?
Cardiology, P.C. is looking for a professional NP/PA with great verbal and written communications skills and excellent bed-side manners who is also organized and detail oriented. The NP/PA will be responsible for the assessment and management of complex cardiac patients in a hospital setting. The NP/PA may perform follow-up care, order diagnostic tests, discharge patients, etc. as directed by the physicians. The NP/PA will function independently or work alongside physicians to provide excellent care for our patients and ensure proper documentation in the hospital EMR systems. The selected candidate must be able to critically think, apply cardiac assessment skills, and communicate clearly with MDs. Other responsibilities as assigned.
We currently have a part-time position open for day shift 2-4 weekends a month. Saturday and Sunday day's 7:00am - 7:00pm.
Experience:
Cardiology: >1 year preferred
EMR systems: > 1 year preferred
Minimum Requirements:
Current Alabama CRNP license or Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners.
AND
Current CPR certification required.
