JOB DESCRIPTION / SUMMARY
This position functions as the Catheterization Lab RN Manager for First Coast Heart and Vascular Cath Lab is responsible for the supervision of Administrative and Clinical Services for the Cardiac Cath Lab, and Pre and Post Area. Working in a dyad relationship with physician leadership, this position will plan, manage, evaluate, and provide for the delivery of the patient care. Under the general direction of the Medical Director and / or Executive Director, the RN Cath Lab Manager will provide clinical, administrative, clerical, and operational oversight to the outpatient cardiovascular catheterization lab to ensure operations run as efficiently as possible.
ATTRIBUTES
- Current and valid RN Florida License or Recognized Compact Licensure
- BLS and ALS / ACLS certifications required
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
- 3-5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab Experience and Peripheral Interventions REQUIRED
- 3 years of management experience REQUIRED
- Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with all providers, staff, and management
